Though her children are a little surprised by how quickly the marriage is progressing, Christine and David Woolley are prepared to take their love to the next level.
In the Sister Wives episode that aired on Sunday, November 3, Christine and David got together for a private meal at home with all of her kids. The only child who hasn’t met David at the time of filming is her daughter Gwendlyn.
Complete Information on Christine and David
After alerting her children to David’s arrival, Christine cautioned her brood. The awkwardness began when Paedon deliberately called David “Richard” rather than his own name when he welcomed him. Then, as in the previous episode of the show, Christine’s daughter Aspyn asked David if he liked any of the wedding locations the couple had explored.
David went on to say that the couple had decided on a wedding date and location. But in a confessional, Christine stated, “We’re not engaged yet.”
Some of her children expressed anxiety about the speed at which Christine and David were moving; Aspyn wrote in a confessional, “I am surprised by how fast things are going.”
Despite their rapid pace, Christine disclosed that David had already “asked my dad” for his approval to marry her and had obtained.
Mykelti, Christine’s daughter, gave David credit for claiming that her mother’s new boyfriend was able to recognize their family’s “quick-witted” temperament from “day one.” Nevertheless, the pair’s PDA made a few of the children uneasy.
“They have to get used to it,” Christine said, adding that she is merely “testing” her children. To feel at ease in front of my children is just what will occur.
Christine and David went ring shopping together later in the show. Nearly two years after she declared her separation from her longtime husband Kody Brown in October 2021, the couple finally got married in Utah in October 2023.
Kody, who was formerly wed to both Meri and Janelle Brown, is currently monogamous with relationship with fourth wife Robyn Brown.
