A post that claimed Detective Jonathan Diller had vanished was made in September 2024 and shared across several Facebook groups.
He had vanished in Jacksonville the day before, according to the post. It also said that the previous evening, they discovered his truck with his son inside.
A picture of the investigator grinning and clutching a toddler was also posted. The message asked readers to share in order to “help find him,” claiming that he had vanished inexplicably.

Jonathan Diller passed away as a result of gun-related injuries he received while performing a traffic check for work, as was previously reported.
